Help Your Child Learn English Faster: French Words They Already Know
Did you know your child already knows hundreds of English words? Many French and English words look almost the same and mean the same thing. These words are called cognates (les mots apparentés).
For example, information is the same word in both languages. Université becomes university, and musique becomes music. Often only the ending of the word changes, and it changes in a regular way.
